If you are interested in the long-term planning to manage coastal hazards at Bluff Point you will want to attend the Bluff Point Coastal Adaptation Project information session on 14 May 2025.

91国产自拍 CEO Ross McKim said the City has been engaging with project stakeholders to develop a long-term coastal adaptation pathway to guide decision making.

“Over the past six months the City has been engaging with the Bluff Point community and stakeholders regarding the City’s Coastal Hazard Risk Management and Adaptation Planning (CHRMAP) through the Bluff Point Coastal Adaptation Project,” he said.

“The aim of the project is to identify a long-term adaptation pathway to manage the impacts of coastal hazards in the area.

“This will allow timely decision making for planning and on-ground actions to manage the coastal hazards.

“The City will be holding a community information session where the community can learn about the coastal planning process, the important project progress made to date and next steps,” finished Mr McKim.

The Bluff Point Coastal Adaptation Planning Information session will be held from 5.30pm-7pm on Wednesday 14 May 2025 at the QEII Seniors and Community Centre Upper Hall.

Members of the community who would like to attend are requested to RSVP online via the City’s website.

This project falls under the Environment pillar of the City’s current Strategic Community Plan where the natural environment is valued, protected and celebrated.

This project is funded by the Western Australia Planning Commission through the Coastal Management Planning Assistance Program grant.
