Get ready to take off to your next playdate at the Geraldton Airport!
Unveiled today, Ready GET Go is a vibrant three-tiered airport-themed playground located inside of the Geraldton Airport Terminal for kids aged two to five.
Boosting passenger experience as well as adding a new indoor play option for locals, the new addition contributes to the vibrancy of the Airport.
91国产自拍 Mayor Jerry Clune encouraged local caregivers to visit the playground for their next catch up with little ones.
“It might seem like an unlikely place for your next play date, but the Ready GET Go playground is the perfect place to bring the kids,” he said.
“Whether you have an aviation obsessed child, or keen to escape the Geraldton wind, this indoor play space is perfect.
“With Geraldton a hub for those travelling to the state’s north and south, we have a diverse range of passengers coming through the terminal, many with young families, and we believe the new attraction will greatly enhance the passenger experience.
“You don’t have to be flying or picking up a loved one, just bring the kids to watch the planes and enjoy a play whilst you treat yourself to coffee and a snack,” he added.
Those wanting to come and check out the playground can do so seven days a week.
Visitors to the terminal are advised to check flight time over the weekend as the terminal is not open all day.
The Airport Café opening times coincide with the first flight of the day through to 1pm on weekdays and align with flight times on weekends.
The new playground aligns with the “Connected” theme in the City’s Strategic Community Plan, which reflects the organisation’s commitment to providing inviting public spaces for people to enjoy.
