Innovators, future leaders and entrepreneurs are in for a treat as Western Australia’s biggest youth tech-innovation event lands in Geraldton.
Spearheaded by GoSH a number of exciting events and workshops will take place in the Midwest empowering the next generation of problem solvers.
With support from the 91国产自拍, Deputy Mayor Natasha Colliver welcomed the unique events and encouraged locals to get involved.
“This is the biggest event of its kind in the state, and we are extremely excited to see the positive drive it will have amongst our young people and into our community,” she said.
“As well as expert speakers, interactive panels, demonstrations and innovative challenges – the events also celebrate creativity, collaboration and local potential.
“Queens Park Theatre will be packed out with over 500 students attending the GoSHowcase from local schools.
“We thank GoSH for bringing these events to our region and we encourage our community to get involved and join the GoSHackathon,” she added.
The fully subscribed GoSHowcase is for all regional young people in years five to 12 and will take place at Queens Park Theatre on Friday 9 May.
GoSHackathon is a free competition which sees mixed teams compete in either the primary or secondary age category to develop innovative solutions for problems specific to the Midwest.
It will take place on Saturday 10 May from 9:30am-2:30pm at St John’s Primary School with registrations and full terms and conditions available on the
Aligning with GoSH’s visit to the Midwest, a number of events aimed at entrepreneurs, innovators, startup founders and investors will also take place.
Events include Bandwidth - a networking collaborative for creatives, Local Launchpad Workshops and an Ignite Innovation After Hours focusing on investment and community pitches.
There will also be a STEM in the Regions session on future careers aimed at students, parents and teachers.
